Reading this journal will be a blast, and writing down events makes you remember things more vividly. That means that writing down the good things will make you remember them more easily than the bad. Cut down on the caffeine that you consume each day. Caffeine increases the stress hormones and will cause you to feel much more stressed about even the smallest things. Instead, consider drinking green tea, which is known to have a calming effect. To avoid stress, prepare for events in advance and make plans in case something goes awry. You could keep a spare key in a secure location, have a secondary babysitter on call and prepare for quick meal solutions by having something ready made on hand, for a few examples. Having a plan and knowing how to take care of it beforehand will help you to deal with any problems should they occur. For the health of your mouth, stop grinding your teeth. Your jaw is a primary area in which you will express your stress. When you have feelings of being overwhelmed, clench your jaw, inhale, exhale and unclench your jaw. You should feel more relieved now. Rate your stress level on a scale from 1-10. One is a small problem, and ten is a huge one. When you do this, you can train your mind to not stress over little things that shouldn’t be stressed over either way.
